Well-Ness from Home

1999-2009

Out of his love for the Gorge and it's surrounding landscapes, towering views and majestic waterfalls, Jason gave up a successful business consulting career along with the corporate philosphy that "time is money." He chose to reside on the Wind River near St. Martins Hotspring to intensify his aesthetic discipline, which involved various forms of Yoga and Hydrotherapy. While raising his family in Carson & Stevenson Washington, he remained gainfully self-employed and chose to integrate his skill-base as a handyman laborer.

In early 2008 the economy began to "buckle" and "contract."  Local laborers like Jason began to experience a sharp decline in business. If that wasn't enough, the iron handed tactics of government agencies like the Oregon Construction Contractors Board, to regulate and all but terminate blue collared self-employed handyman laborers and illegal immigrants alike, was enough to send the "salt of the earth" into an economic down-spiral.

Jason has since re-directed his time and energy into "harvesting" the fruit of his experience & personel aesthetic practice(s), modeling a simple way towards life where "less is more."
